Abstract

Sebelum implementasi, arus starting tercatat 4 A. Setelah alat digunakan, empat pembacaan arus starting sebesar 1,80 A; 1,60 A; 1,70 A; dan 1,68 A diperoleh, dengan nilai rata-rata 1,70 A atau sekitar 57,6% lebih rendah daripada kondisi awal.

Abstract

Omah Kriuk Malang is a food microenterprise with a production capacity of approximately 25–30 kg per day. The partner’s priority problems were the inrush current caused by direct starting of the single-phase induction motor on the dough mixer, which triggered miniature circuit-breaker trips and mechanical shock, and manual financial recording that did not consistently separate business and household transactions. This community service program aimed to implement an electronic firing-angle controller for the induction motor together with spreadsheet-based digital bookkeeping. The method comprised partner needs analysis, solution design, assembly and testing, installation on the partner’s machine, training, and field evaluation. Before implementation, the starting current was recorded at 4 A. After installation, four starting-current readings of 1.80 A, 1.60 A, 1.70 A, and 1.68 A were obtained, with an average of 1.70 A, corresponding to an approximately 57.6% reduction from the initial value. No MCB trip was reported during the tests. The controller has been used during the partner’s production process, while Excel-based bookkeeping has begun to be used for recording business transactions. These results indicate that both the technological and administrative solutions are adoptable, although further monitoring is required to confirm sustained performance and usage.
