EDUKASI EKONOMI SYARIAH BAGI GENERASI MILENIAL

Indeks literasi ekonomi syariah menjadi salah satu indikator yang menjadi cerminan tingkat literasi masyarakat Indonesia terhadap ekonomi syariah dan tingkat inklusi masyarakat terhadap layanan keuangan syariah. Angka literasi ekonomi syariah masih rendah meskipun Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi muslim terbesar di dunia. Untuk meningkatkan literasi ekonomi syariah di Indonesia, diperlukan edukasi dan sosialisasi terkait ekonomi dan keuangan syariah kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi ekonomi syariah bagi siswa dan alumni yang menjadi anggota dalam ekstrakurikuler Rohani Islam (ROHIS) di SMKN 48 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah mengenai ekonomi syariah, tanya jawab, pre test dan post test. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan literasi peserta terhadap ekonomi syariah yang dijelaskan dari hasil pre test dan post test yang dilakukan terhadap peserta pengabdian. Sebelum dilakukan edukasi ekonomi syariah, peserta yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang ekonomi syariah hanya sebesar 11%, setelah dilakukan edukasi, peserta yang memiliki pengetahuan ekonomi syariah meningkat 83% menjadi 94%. Angka peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan edukasi yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat berperngaruh terhadap pemahaman dan literasi peserta mengenai ekonomi syariah.

ABSTRACT

The Islamic economic literacy index is one of the indicators that reflects the level of literacy of the Indonesian people towards the Islamic economy and the level of community inclusion in Islamic financial services. The Islamic economic literacy rate is still low even though Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. To improve sharia economic literacy in Indonesia, education and socialization related to sharia economy and finance are needed to the public. This community service aims to provide Islamic economic education for students and alumni who are members of the Islamic Spiritual Extracurricular (ROHIS) at SMKN 48 Jakarta. The method used in this service is a lecture on sharia economics, questions and answers, pre-test and post-test. The result of this service is an increase in participants' literacy on sharia economics which is explained from the results of the pre-test and post-test conducted on the participants of the service. Before the sharia economic education was conducted, only 11% of participants had knowledge of sharia economics, after education, participants who had knowledge of sharia economics increased 83% to 94%. This increase figure shows that the implementation of socialization and education carried out in this service activity greatly influences the participants' understanding and literacy regarding sharia economics.
