PROMOSI KESEHATAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASCA MENDERITA INFEKSI COVID-19
Abstract
Abstrak: Pasca COVID-19 dapat menimbulkan dampak yang signifikan pada kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan individu yang terinfeksi, yaitu memburuknya kualitas hidup mereka. Kegiatan promosi kesehatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan produk herbal habbatusauda, madu dan minyak VCO. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diawali dengan melakukan pretest untuk mengetahui pengetahuan perta promosi kesehatan sebelum dilakukan edukasi. Kegiatan PkM dilanjutkan dengan penberian edukasi dan diakhiri dengan melakukan evaluasi paska dilakuakna edukasi untuk menilai pengetahuan posttest edukasi kesehatan. Pelaksanaan PkM dilakukan terhadap mitra pertama yang berjumlah 15 orang pada hari Kamis, 16 Desember 2021 dan mitra kedua yang juga berjumlah 15 orang pada hari Jum’at, 17 Desember 2021 dengan tema edukasi yang sama yaitu tentang manfaat suplemen herbal untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien paska infeksi COVID-19 dengan menurunkan atau menghilangkan gejala sisa persisten yang dialaminya. Hasil pemberian edukasi setelah dilakukan evaluasi menunjukan perubahan signifikan skor pengetahuan peserta sebelum (30%) dan setelah edukasi (66%).
Abstract: Post-COVID-19 can have a significant impact on the health-related quality of life of infected individuals, namely worsening their quality of life. This health promotion activity aims to increase public knowledge regarding the use of black seed herbal products, honey and VCO oil. This community service begins with conducting a pretest to find out knowledge about health promotion before education is carried out. PkM activities continue with providing education and end with conducting a post-education evaluation to assess knowledge of the health education posttest. The implementation of PkM was carried out on the first partner, numbering 15 people, on Thursday, 16 December 2021 and the second partner, also numbering 15 people, on Friday, 17 December 2021 with the same educational theme, namely about the benefits of herbal supplements to improve the quality of life of patients. Post-COVID-19 infection by reducing or eliminating the persistent residual symptoms they experience. The results of providing education after the evaluation showed significant changes in participants' knowledge scores before (30%) and after education (66%).
