PROMOSI KESEHATAN MEDIA VIDEO LEBIH EFEKTIF DIBANDINGKAN BOOKLET TERHADAP PENINGAKATAN PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP, DAN PRAKTEK PREVENTIF STUNTING
Abstract
Abstrak: Pemanfaatan media sebagai sarana promosi kesehatan harus mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Inovasi promosi kesehatan yang menarik salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan video sebagai media edukasi sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa promosi kesehatan menggunakan media video lebih baik dibandingkan media booklet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktek pemberian nutrisi sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Metode yang digunakan adalah two experimental pre and post-test design yang melibatkan sebanyak 550 ibu yang memiliki anak balita. Studi ini membagi mereka menjadi dua kelompok, dengan 225 ibu menerima intervensi media video dan 225 ibu menerima intervensi media booklet. Data yang dikumpulkan termasuk kuesioner tentang tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik pemberian gizi. Uji validitas menunjukkan angka antara 0,469 hingga 0,953 untuk pengetahuan dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,982, sedangkan uji validitas untuk sikap adalah antara 0,448 hingga 0,931 dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,973. Penilaian praktek pemberian makan dilakukan dengan menggunakan indeks massa tubuh balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji beda (independent samples t-test). Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara media video dan media booklet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktek pemberian nutrisi (p<0,000). Disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktek pemberian nutrisi pada kelompok media video lebih baik dibandingkan media booklet.
Abstract: The use of media as a means of health promotion must keep up with the times. One of the interesting health promotion innovations is by utilizing videos as an educational medium as an effort to prevent stunting. This study aims to prove that health promotion using video media is better than booklet media for improving knowledge, attitudes, and practices of nutrition as an effort to prevent stunting. The method used was two experimental pre and post-test designs involving as many as 550 mothers who had children under five. The study divided them into two groups, with 225 mothers receiving a video media intervention and 225 mothers receiving a booklet media intervention. The data collected included questionnaires on the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of nutrition. The validity test showed a number between 0.469 to 0.953 for knowledge with a reliability of 0.982, while the validity test for attitude was between 0.448 to 0.931 with a reliability of 0.973. The assessment of feeding practices was carried out using the body mass index of toddlers. This study uses data analysis of normality test, homogeneity test, and differential test (independent samples t-test). The results of the study stated that there was a difference between video media and booklet media on the improvement of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of nutrition (p<0.000). It was concluded that the knowledge, attitude, and practice of providing nutrition in the video media group were better than that of booklet media.
