PENYULUHAN PENGELOLAAN HIJAUAN DAN PEMANFAATAN ENERGI SURYA UNTUK PRODUKSI PAKAN BERKUALITAS PADA KELOMPOK TERNAK LEMBU ANDINI PINUNJUL
Abstract
Abstrak: Desa Klumutan memiliki potensi hijauan pakan yang berlimpah namun belum ditangani secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peternak desa klumutan mengenai potensi hijauan pakan yang ada di wilayah mereka dan menerapkan inovasi teknologi rumah pengering surya untuk meningkatkan kulaitas hijauan pakan mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan kegiatan yakni survey, alih teknologi olahan pakan, pembangunan rumah pengering dan pendampingan penggunaannya. Mitra kegiatan adalah komunitas kelompok ternak ruminansia Lembu Andini pinunjul desa Klumutan, Madiun yang berjumlah 20 orang. Sosialisasi mengenai ragam hijauan pakan telah meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman peternak tentang pentingnya pemilihan dan pengolahan pakan yang berkualitas. Selain itu, alih teknologi pengolahan hijauan kering telah diperkenalkan, dan antusiasme anggota kelompok ternak menunjukkan kesiapan mereka untuk mengadopsi metode baru ini. Pembangunan rumah pengering surya dan implementasinya juga telah dilakukan dan mendapat respon yang baik dari komunitas peternak. selesai dilaksanakan dan dioperasionalkan. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hijauan pakan dan pada akhirnya mendukung produktivitas ternak.
Abstract: Klumutan Village has abundant forage potential but has not been handled optimally. This service activity aims to increase the understanding of Klumutan village farmers about the potential of forage feed in their area and apply technological innovations in solar dryer houses to improve the quality of their forage feed. The service activities are carried out through several stages of activities, namely surveys, transfer of feed processing technology, construction of dryer houses and assistance in their use. The activity partner is the Lembu Andini Pinunjul ruminant livestock group community in Klumutan village, Madiun. The socialisation of various feed forages has increased farmers' awareness and understanding of the importance of selecting and processing quality feed. In addition, dry forage processing technology transfer has been introduced, and the enthusiasm of livestock group members indicates their readiness to adopt this new method. The construction of the solar drying house has also progressed as planned, with the finishing stage to be implemented soon. These measures are expected to improve forage quality and ultimately support livestock productivity.
