PEMBERDAYAAN PERAWAT DAN BIDAN DI PUSKESMAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS LAYANAN PERAWATAN LUKA PASKA OPERASI DENGAN KONSEP MOIST WOUND HEALING
Abstract
Abstrak: Masalah: Perbedaan standar pelayanan dan masih banyaknya penerapan metode konvensional dalam perawatan luka tidak sesuai dengan tuntutan peran layanan primer dalam upaya pencegahan infeksi luka operasi. Tujuan: Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Perawat dan Bidan dalam emmberikan pelayanan perawatan luka paska operasi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jalan Gedang, Puskesmas Lingkar Timur, Puskesmas Lingkar Barat, dan Puskesmas Sidomulyo. Metode: Kegiatan Pengabmas dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan 15 JPL dengan metode teori, praktik laboratorium, dan praktik lapangan melalui pendampingan langsung kepada 15 perawat dan bidan Puskesmas yang berada di wilayah kerja Kecamatan Gading Cempaka. Evaluasi terhadap hasil capain kegiatan yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan yang diukur dengan kuisioner sedangkan indicator ketepatan keterampilan yang diukur dengan metode observasi menggunakan daftar tilik, sedangkan kepuasaan pasien diukur secara kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Rerata nilai pengetahuan setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan yaitu 92 dengan SD 3,723, dan rerata nilai keterampilan 93,87 dengan SD 4,172, serta sebanyak empat pasien menunjukkan proses penyembuhan luka yang sangat baik tanpa terjadi komplikasi dan mengaku puas dengan perawatan yang diberikan.
Abstract: Problem: The difference in service standards and the number of applications of conventional methods in wound care are not to the demands of the role of primary services in efforts to prevent surgical wound infections. Objective: This Community Service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Nurses and Midwives in providing postoperative wound care services in the work area of the Jalan Gedang Health Center, East Ring Health Center, West Ring Health Center, and Sidomulyo Health Center. Method: Community Service activities were carried out through 15 hours of training with theoretical methods, laboratory practices, and field practices through direct assistance to 15 nurses and midwives of the Health Center in the work area of Gading Cempaka District. The evaluation of the activity results was an increase in knowledge, which was measured by a questionnaire. In contrast, the indicator of skill accuracy was measured by the observation method using a list of points, and patient satisfaction was measured qualitatively by the interview method. The average value of knowledge after training and mentoring was 92 with SD 3,723, and the average skill score was 93.87 with SD 4,172. As many as four patients showed an excellent wound-healing process without complications and were satisfied with the treatment.
