Abstract

Abstract: Adolescent health is a crucial aspect in developing quality human resources. However, many adolescents still have a low understanding of healthy living behavior and first aid in emergencies. The Youth Red Cross (PMR), as a youth organization, has great potential to become an agent of change to increase health awareness among adolescents. This community service activity aims to strengthen the role of PMR in health education strategies for adolescents through an educational, interactive, and community-based approach. This study aimed to raise students' awareness about adolescent health and the significance of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) in promoting health within the school environment. The counseling session covered topics such as eating disorders, diabetes, mental health, and anemia, which are prevalent among adolescents. The methods used in the session included pre-tests, post-tests, discussions, and educational games to enhance students' understanding. The participants of this activity were 53 students from MA Citra Cendekia. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in students' knowledge, with average post-test scores increasing from 67.88 to 81.61, demonstrating the effectiveness of the interactive methods employed.
