PENYULUHAN PERAWATAN KULIT DAN PENCEGAHAN JERAWAT PADA REMAJA
Abstract
Abstrak: Akne vulgaris merupakan suatu penyakit inflamasi menahun yang banyak terjadi pada remaja hampir 85-100%. Kejadian jerawat dipengaruhi oleh multifaktorial salah satunya adalah pola makan atau diet yang berdampak bagi status gizi seseorang. Status gizi seseorang dapat diukur dengan Indeks Massa Tubuh. Tujuan dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan ini adalah dengan melatih bagi remaja melakukan perawatan diri kesehatan kulit khususnya pencegahan jerawat serta pengurukan status gizi remaja. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), Ambon. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan oleh Dokter Muda bagian Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat (IKM) dan didampingi oleh dokter bagian Departemen IKM. Jumlah peserta 29 dengan dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan materi dan diskusi mengenai topik kesehatan kulit bagi remaja dan pencegahan jerawat serta dilakukan pengukuran antropometri sebagai dasar status gizi bagi remaja. Peserta antusias mengikuti seluruh rangkaian dengan capaian pengetahuan siswa tentang jerawat dan perawatan kulit dengan pengetahuan baik 100%. Kegiatan ini didapatkan mayoritas remaja dengan status gizi kurang.
Abstract: Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs in many adolescents, almost 85-100%. The incidence of acne is influenced by multifactorial factors, one of which is diet or eating patterns that affect a person's nutritional status. A person's nutritional status can be measured by the Body Mass Index. The purpose of this health education is to train adolescents to carry out self-care for skin health, especially acne prevention and improving the nutritional status of adolescents. The activity was carried out at Senior High School of Ambon. The education activity was carried out by a Clicinal Student from the Public Health and accompanied by a doctor from the Public Health Department. The number of participants was 29 with education activities and discussions on the topic of skin health for adolescents and acne prevention and anthropometric measurements were carried out as a basis for nutritional status for adolescents. Participants enthusiastically participated in the entire series with the achievement of student knowledge about acne and skin care with good knowledge of 100%. This activity was obtained by the majority of adolescents with poor nutritional status.
