PENDAMPINGAN BUDIDAYA DAN PENGOLAHAN PRODUK OLAHAN BERBASIS MIKRO ALGAE PADA KELOMPOK TANI WANITA SRI TANJUNG KABUPATEN MALANG
Abstract
Abstract: The need for innovative, sustainable, and high nutritional value food sources is one of the urgent needs for the community. This community service activity was carried out based on an analysis of the problems that exist in KWT Sri Tanjung, Sukosari Village, Kasembon District, Malang Regency, namely the lack of knowledge about the benefits of microalgae. The purpose of this community empowerment is carried out so that the community can find out the benefits of microalgae for health, but also to improve the community's economy through innovation of microalgae derivative products. This service was carried out with socialization and mentoring activities. Activities carried out at KWT Sri Tanjung with 34 service participants This service has 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the socialization and mentoring stage, and the monitoring and evaluation stage. Based on evaluation and monitoring using questionnaires after socialization and mentoring, it shows that service participants have new knowledge, understanding, and skills in cultivating microalgae. The highest percentage of answers from participants showed that participants strongly agreed that microalgae could be an alternative food in the future (68.75%) and microalgae could be a source of protein (65.63%). This shows that the mentoring that has been carried out is able to have a good impact on the community.
