Abstract

Abstract: The low level of public understanding regarding the importance of immunological testing for early detection of infectious diseases was the background of this community service activity. The aim was to improve public knowledge about immunological examination as an early diagnostic tool for diseases such as HIV, hepatitis, and tuberculosis. The activity was conducted through an online health education session involving 28 participants from diverse backgrounds. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test to assess changes in knowledge. The results showed an increase in average scores from 66.4 to 87.1, with a gain of 20.7 points or approximately 31.18%. These findings indicate a positive impact of the session on participants’ knowledge. Therefore, this online educational activity proved effective in raising public awareness about the importance of early laboratory-based diagnosis.
