PENGUATAN RENCANA STUDI DAN KARIR BERBASIS POTENSI DIRI MELALUI PENDAMPINGAN SISWA SMA
Abstract
Abstrak: Mengenali potensi diri dapat membantu seseorang dalam merancang rencana studi dan karir. Namun, sebagian peserta didik di SMA Islam Karangploso masih belum menyadari secara utuh minat, bakat, maupun potensi dirinya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan membantu 47 peserta didik kelas X, XI, dan XII di SMA Islam Karangploso untuk (1) mengenali potensi dan kekuatan diri; (2) meningkatkan keterampilan dalam menyusun career roadmap; dan (3) membentuk mindset mandiri dalam memilih jalur pendidikan dan karier secara bertanggung jawab. Program ini terdiri dari tahap prakegitan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif dan pendampingan intensif. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui menganalisi hasil pretest dan post-test berupa angket yang terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan. Hasil menunjukkkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan tentang studi dan karir, pemahaman potensi diri, keterampilan perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan, serta dukungan sosial dan motivasi dengan persentase peningkatan dalam rentang 27% hingga 42,3%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa program pendampingan yang dilakukan tepat sasaran dan telah memberikan solusi dari permasalahan mitra.
Abstract: Recognizing one’s personal potential can significantly support the process of designing an effective study and career plan. However, many students at SMA Islam Karangploso have not yet fully understood their interests, talents, and inner strengths. This community service program aimed to assist 47 students in Grade X, XI, and XII at SMA Islam Karangploso in: (1) identifying their personal potential and strengths; (2) improving their skills in creating a career roadmap; and (3) developing an independent mindset in choosing educational and career pathways responsibly. This program consists of the pre-activity stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The methods used include interactive lectures and intensive mentoring. The evaluation is carried out by analyzing the results of the pre-test and post-test in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions. The results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge about study and career planning, self-awareness, planning and decision-making skills, as well as social support and motivation, with percentage improvements ranging from 27% to 42.3%. These findings indicate that the mentoring program effectively addressed the partner's problems and delivered appropriate solutions.
