IMPLEMENTASI SMART LAB: PEMANFAATAN QR CODE DALAM PENGELOLAAN LABORATORIUM IPA SMA

Abstract


Abstrak: Pengelolaan laboratorium IPA di Sekolah Menengah Atas seringkali menghadapi tantangan terutama dalam hal pengelolaan alat, bahan, serta jadwal penggunaan laboratorium. Selama ini, pengelolaan laboratorium masih menggunakan metode manual yang cenderung memakan waktu dan rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan yang mempengaruhi kualitas dan kesiapan peserta didik dalam melakukan kegiatan praktikum. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diterapkan sistem pengelolaan laboratorium berbasis QR Code di SMA YPK Diaspora Kotaraja. Sistem ini bertujuan mempermudah proses pendataan, peminjaman, dan pelacakan alat serta bahan laboratorium. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja laboran dan guru IPA, sekaligus mengembangkan hardskill terkait teknologi digital dan softskill seperti kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan keteraturan administrasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan dan pendampingan kepada enam guru IPA dan 40 siswa kelas XI di SMA YPK Diaspora, Kotaraja. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman guru dan siswa terhadap sistem QR Code. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan Lab berbasis QR Code merupakan inovasi yang dapat dengan mudah diadopsi di sekolah-sekolah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui survei sederhana yang diberikan pada guru-guru, dengan hasil 80% berada pada kategori baik dan Tingkat pemahaman peserta didik di atas 40% berada pada kategori sangat baik dan di atas 35% berada pada kategori baik.

Abstract: Science laboratory management in high schools often faces challenges, especially in terms of managing equipment, materials, and laboratory usage schedules. Currently, laboratory management still uses manual methods that tend to be time-consuming and prone to recording errors that affect the quality and readiness of students in conducting practical activities. To overcome these problems, a QR Code-based laboratory management system was implemented at SMA YPK Diaspora Kotaraja. This system aims to simplify the process of data collection, borrowing, and tracking of laboratory equipment and materials. This activity also aims to improve the work efficiency of laboratory assistants and science teachers, while simultaneously developing hard skills related to digital technology and soft skills such as discipline, responsibility, and administrative order. The activity was carried out through counseling and mentoring for six science teachers and 40 grade 11 students at SMA YPK Diaspora, Kotaraja. Evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire to measure the level of teacher and student understanding of the QR Code system. The results obtained indicate that QR Code-based Lab management is an innovation that can be easily adopted in other schools facing similar challenges. This was proven through a simple survey given to teachers, with the results that 80% were in the good category and the level of student understanding above 40% was in the very good category and above 35% was in the good category.
