PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI ARGUMEN MATEMATIS SEBAGAI SOLUSI PERMASALAHAN MANAJEMEN PEMBELAJARAN GURU

Abstrak: Tantangan utama dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah rendahnya partisipasi verbal dan keterampilan argumentasi siswa, yang berdampak pada lemahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan memanfaatkan Aplikasi Argumen Matematis sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi dan manajemen pembelajaran guru. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan PRA dan OPP melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan guru (60 orang anggota MGMP Matematika SMA Jombang), pelatihan siswa (34 siswa SMAN 1 Jombang), serta penerapan aplikasi di kelas. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui tes pemahaman guru dan observasi pembelajaran. Hasil tes menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pemahaman guru sebesar 76,38% (kategori Baik). Observasi menunjukkan rata-rata integrasi teknologi 82% (Sangat Baik), interaksi dan keterlibatan siswa 76% (Baik), serta hasil pembelajaran 80% (Sangat Baik). Rata-rata keseluruhan observasi 79,3% (Baik). Dengan demikian, penerapan aplikasi terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi matematis siswa dan kualitas manajemen pembelajaran guru.

Abstract: The main challenge in mathematics learning lies in students’ low verbal participation and weak argumentative skills, which affect their critical thinking ability. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to utilize the Mathematical Argument Application as a solution to enhance students’ argumentation skills and teachers’ classroom management. The method combined PRA and OPP approaches through socialization, teacher training (60 mathematics teachers of MGMP Jombang), student training (34 students of SMAN 1 Jombang), and classroom implementation. Evaluation was conducted using teachers’ comprehension tests and classroom observation. Results showed the average teacher comprehension score was 76.38% (Good category). Observation indicated an average score of 82% for technology integration (Very Good), 76% for student interaction and participation (Good), and 80% for learning outcomes (Very Good), with an overall mean of 79.3% (Good). Therefore, the application proved effective in improving students’ mathematical argumentation skills and enhancing teachers’ learning management quality.
