Abstract: Puding Besar Health Center is one of the Health Centers that supports maternal mental health, both for pregnant women, postpartum women, and breastfeeding women. The main problem identified includes mothers' low knowledge regarding normal and pathological psychological changes after childbirth. This community service activity aims to prevent baby blues syndrome and postpartum depression by increasing mothers' understanding. Activities include socialization, counseling, and sharing experiences attended by 30 postpartum and breastfeeding mothers in the Puding Besar Community Health Center's work area. Evaluation was carried out through pre-test & post-test interactions and questions and answers from participants. The results of the community service activity showed an increase in mothers' knowledge about baby blues syndrome and postpartum depression from 8.20 to 12.85 and an increase in knowledge about breastfeeding from 9.10 to 13.40. Postpartum mothers can explore these experiences accompanied by family members, especially husbands, and supported by health workers (midwives) to minimize the incidence of depression or stress when caring for babies so that mothers can be calmer and more comfortable when breastfeeding.
