AKU TUMBUH SEHAT DAN CERDAS: EDUKASI PUBERTAS DAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI PADA REMAJA SD
Abstract
Abstrak: Masa pubertas merupakan fase penting dalam perkembangan remaja, yang ditandai dengan perubahan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar tentang pubertas dan kesehatan reproduksi dapat menimbulkan kebingungan serta kecemasan dalam menghadapi perubahan tubuh. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa sekolah dasar mengenai pubertas dan kesehatan reproduksi melalui edukasi interaktif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 20 Januari 2026 di salah satu sekolah dasar, Kecamatan Ngluwar, Kabupaten Magelang, dengan sasaran 30 siswa-siswi kelas 5 dan 6. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pemutaran video edukatif, permainan edukatif, pembagian leaflet, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan dari 72,67 menjadi 78,50 atau sebesar 8,02%. Edukasi interaktif yang dilaksanakan terbukti bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai pubertas dan kesehatan reproduksi. Dengan demikian, edukasi sejak dini perlu terus dikembangkan sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif dalam meningkatkan kesehatan remaja.
Abstract: Puberty is a crucial phase in adolescent development, marked by physical, psychological, and social changes. Lack of understanding among elementary school students regarding puberty and reproductive health can lead to confusion and anxiety as they navigate these bodily changes. This community service activity aims to enhance elementary school students’ knowledge of puberty and reproductive health through interactive education. The activity was conducted on January 20, 2026, at an elementary school in Ngluwar Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, targeting 30 fifth- and sixth-grade students. The methods used included showing educational videos, educational games, distributing leaflets, and evaluation via pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 72.67 to 78.50, or by 8.02%. The interactive education conducted proved to be beneficial in improving students’ understanding of puberty and reproductive health. Therefore, early education should be continuously promoted as a preventive and promotive strategy to support adolescent health.
