PEMBERDAYAAN LITERASI RISET DAN PUBLIKASI ILMIAH BERBASIS AI DAN NVIVO PADA PENDIDIKAN PESANTREN DAN SEKOLAH FORMAL
Abstract
Abstract: Digital transformation in education encourages educators and learning communities to have adequate research literacy and scientific publications. This community service activity aims to equip Islamic boarding school students and junior high school MGMP teachers in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and NVivo software to support qualitative research and scientific publications. The activity was carried out in three Islamic boarding schools and junior high school English MGMPs throughout the Nganjuk Residency, involving 90 participants using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. Pre-assessment results showed that most participants did not yet understand NVivo's operational features, especially data query (76.8%), data import (75.4%), and data export (81.2%). A post-training evaluation of 49 respondents showed that 83.7% of participants considered the training very useful and 55.1% stated that the practice and mentoring were satisfactory. Participants began to be able to use AI for literature searches and scientific article preparation and practiced basic coding using NVivo. The activity output showed that several participants successfully published articles.
