Abstract: Cognitive decline is a common problem among older adults and may affect their independence in daily activities. This community service activity aimed to improve older adults’ knowledge and awareness of the importance of physical activity in maintaining cognitive function through education and elderly exercise practice. The partner of this activity was Sekolah Lansia Meruyung, Depok City, involving 50 older adults. The methods included health education, interactive discussion, and direct practice of elderly exercise. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure knowledge improvement, as well as observation to assess participant engagement during the activity. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 40 to 90, representing a 125% improvement from the initial score. Participants also demonstrated enthusiasm and active involvement during the exercise session. This activity indicates that education combined with elderly exercise practice can serve as a simple and applicable approach to promoting an active lifestyle among older adults.
