PENERAPAN 'MINDFUL EATING' DAN AKTIVITAS FISIK TERUKUR BAGI WANITA USIA SUBUR DAN LANSIA PADA ERA DIGITAL

Abstract


Abstrak: Rendahnya kesadaran wanita usia subur (WUS) dan lansia terhadap pola makan sehat serta gangguan penggunaan gawai di era digital memicu perilaku makan tidak sehat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang mindful eating dan aktivitas fisik terukur melalui literasi digital Kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah rangkaian workshop edukatif oleh pakar gizi dan fisioterapi, melibatkan 30 responden di Kayumalue Ngapa, Palu Utara. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 10 pernyataan dengan pilihan benar salah untuk mengukur efektivitas intervensi.dengan indikator keberhasilannya ditandai dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perubahan perilaku peserta dalam menerapkan pola hidup sehat di era digital. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan responden dari 30% menjadi 95%. Secara spesifik, variabel Konsep Mindful Eating melonjak 64% (rerata skor 28% ke 92%), sementara Literasi Digital Kesehatan meningkat 54% mencapai skor akhir 96%. Selain aspek kognitif, terjadi perubahan perilaku nyata di mana 80% responden kini mampu meletakkan gawai saat makan utama. Program ini berhasil mentransformasi softskill peserta dalam mengelola pola hidup sehat secara mandiri di tengah tantangan era digital.

Abstract: Low awareness regarding healthy eating habits among women of reproductive age and the elderly, combined with excessive device usage in the digital era, has led to unhealthy dietary behaviors. This community service initiative aimed to enhance understanding of mindful eating and structured physical activity through digital health literacy. The project employed a series of educational workshops led by nutrition and physiotherapy experts, involving 30 participants in Kayumalue Ngapa, North Palu. Evaluation was conducted using a 10-item true/false pre-test and post-test; success was measured by improvements in participants' knowledge and skills, as well as behavioral changes regarding the adoption of a healthy lifestyle in the digital age. Results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, rising from 30% to 95%. Specifically, understanding of the "Mindful Eating" concept surged by 64% (with mean scores rising from 28% to 92%), while digital health literacy improved by 54%, reaching a final score of 96%. Beyond cognitive gains, tangible behavioral changes were observed, with 80% of participants now able to put aside their devices during main meals. The program successfully transformed participants' soft skills, enabling them to independently manage a healthy lifestyle amidst the challenges of the digital era.The low awareness of healthy eating patterns among women of childbearing age (WUS) and the elderly, coupled with the distraction of gadget use in the digital era, triggers unhealthy eating behaviors. This community service program aims to increase understanding of mindful eating and measured physical activity through digital health literacy. Specifically, the Mindful Eating Concept variable jumped 64% (average score 28% to 92%), while Digital Health Literacy increased 54% to reach a final score of 96%. In addition to cognitive aspects, there was a real change in behavior where 80% of respondents are now able to put down their gadgets during main meals. This program successfully transformed participants' soft skills in managing a healthy lifestyle independently amidst the challenges of the digital era.
