Abstract

Abstract: Edelweiss Hospital Cianjur previously relied on a manual employee performance appraisal process, making assessment slower, more vulnerable to subjectivity, and difficult to audit. This community service program aimed to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based HR Appraisal Module to standardize the appraisal workflow, weighting mechanism, and documentation of results. The implementation method included needs analysis, module configuration, initial socialization and mentoring for 34 participants (employees, managers, HR staff) at Edelweiss Hospital Cianjur, and evaluation based on database logs from January 2025 to March 2026. Evaluation results show an increase in operational governance value: all 467 appraisal records (100%) are now logged and traceable in a centralized database, compared to the previously scattered and undocumented manual process. The module was used by 227 of 262 targeted employees (86.6% adoption rate), with repeat usage recorded among 182 employees, indicating sustained use in subsequent appraisal cycles. These findings indicate that digitizing performance appraisal improves accountability and the operational efficiency of HR governance at the partner institution.
