OPTIMALISASI MASJID SEBAGAI PUSAT EDUKASI KESEHATAN DAN PENDIDIKAN YANG HOLISTIK BAGI KOMUNITAS MUSLIM INDONESIA DI KOREA SELATAN
Abstract

This community service intiative aims to optimize the role of Al-Falah Mosque in Seoul as a hub for holistic health education, enabling congregants to independently manage physical ailments and educate their peers The implementations method involved interactive workshops on adaptive health literacy and sessions on independent physical exercise routines. The project partnered with the Indonesian Muslim Community in Seoul, engaging 8 male and 10 female congregants. Program evaluation was conducted quantitatively using A 10-item questionnaire instrument (pre-test and post-test), with the success indicator being an improvement in the congregation members' proficiency to the "Good" category (score > 70). Result indicate a significant improvement in the congregants health related hard and soft skills. All participants (100%) achieved a “good knowledge rating regarding self management of injuries and understanding of sarcopenia. This signifies an improvement over baseline levels and the complete elimination of prior knowledge gaps. This success was further supported by the establishment of a health and education corner (PKP), serving as a facility for independent and sustainable community health monitoring while living abroad.
