PENGUATAN KAPASITAS POKDARWIS MELALUI TOURISM STARTER KIT UNTUK PENGELOLAAN WISATA DESA BERBASIS ECOTOURISM
Abstract
Abstract: Village tourism assets had not been fully transformed into managed, promoted, and community-participatory tourism products. This community service program aimed to strengthen the initial capacity of tourism awareness groups and village actors through ecotourism-based training and practical clinics using the Oelbubuk Tourism Starter Kit. Conducted on 17 July 2026, the program involved 30 participants from tourism groups, village government, youth, microenterprises, community leaders, and residents. Methods included training, participatory mapping, destination profile development, tourism package design, storytelling, promotional captions, and a 30-day action plan. Evaluation used a 20-item pre-test and post-test and verification of five categories of practical outputs. Cognitive success required at least 75% of participants to show an individual score increase, while output success required all five product categories to be available as drafts meeting minimum elements. The mean score increased by 1.52%, from 98.5 to 100, but only 10% of participants improved because 90% had already reached the maximum score at pre-test; therefore, the cognitive indicator was not achieved. In contrast, the output indicator was achieved through a tourism potential map and drafts of a destination profile, tourism package, promotional content, and a 30-day action plan.
