Abstract

Abstract: Strengthening the practice of the 7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children (7 KAIH) is a crucial part of preparing outstanding individuals for the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision, the success of which depends on consistency and ongoing monitoring. Based on this, a community service activity was conducted with the aim of enhancing teachers’ understanding in their efforts to strengthen the practice of the 7 KAIH through the implementation of Collaborative Inquiry Learning (CIL) based on AI Smart-Monitoring. The activity partners were 21 teachers from the Sahabat Learning Community in Karo Regency. The implementation method consisted of five stages: socialization, training and workshops, application and mentoring, best practices, and evaluation and reflection. A questionnaire assessing understanding of the application of CIL and AI Smart-Monitoring—comprising 20 positive statements on a five-point Likert scale—was administered before and after the activity, supplemented by interview and observation data, and analyzed quantitatively. Analysis of the questionnaire results revealed an increase in teachers’ understanding from 68% to 85% (rated “very good”). Based on these findings, the implementation of AI-based CIL Smart-Monitoring is recommended to be continued in subsequent activities, specifically the ongoing evaluation of the adoption of the 7 KAIH principles.
