Abstract

Abstract: This community engagement program was motivated by the need to strengthen elementary school teachers’ digital competence and provide more flexible learning alternatives in a partner school affected by seasonal flooding. The program aimed to improve teachers’ digital competence through the implementation of the LENTERA 101752 Learning Management System (LMS) and training in developing learning media using Generative AI and Augmented Reality (AR). The activities were conducted through training and workshops involving 21 teachers from a public elementary school in Deli Serdang Regency. Evaluation was conducted through observation during the activities, as well as pre-test and post-test assessments of teachers’ digital competence. The data were analyzed descriptively by comparing the mean scores before and after the activities, calculating the difference and percentage increase, and determining the proportion of participants whose scores improved. The evaluation results showed that the mean score increased from 62.11 to 82.63, representing an increase of 20.53 points (33.05%), with an N-gain of 0.54 (moderate category), and 94.74% of participants showing an improvement in their scores. The program demonstrated positive progress in teachers’ digital competence in utilizing LMS, Generative AI, and AR to support more flexible and interactive learning.
