EDUKASI SEKS PADA ANAK-ANAK UNTUK PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN MELALUI CERAMAH DAN PRETEND PLAY

Abstract


Abstrak: Edukasi seks sejak dini pada anak-anak perlu dilakukan sebab anak-anak merupakan kelompok yang paling rentan mengalami pelecehan, dan penelantaran seksual yang dapat berpengaruh pada perkembangan fisik, emosional, perilaku, dan kognitifnya, dan menyebabkan gangguan mental yang parah bagi anak. Pemberian pendidikan seks pada anak di Desa Rado bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak dan orang tua tentang pentingnya edukasi seks sejak dini, agar meningkatkan keterampilan anak untuk dapat melindungi dirinya, serta memiliki kemampuan melakukan penilaian resiko yang baik terhadap segala bentuk kekerasan seksual. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan Pretend Play. Jumlah peserta dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah 32 peserta yang terdiri dari anak-anak, dan orang tua atau pendamping. Bentuk evaluasi yang digunakan adalah diskusi dan hasil umpan balik dengan parameter keberhasilannya adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang materi yang diberikan. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah 100% peserta menjawab memahami materi pendidikan seks yang diberikan dan mengetahui tindakan pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kasus kekerasan seksual.

Abstract: Early sex education for children needs to be carried out because children are the group most vulnerable to abuse, and sexual neglect can affect their physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development which can cause serious mental disorders in children. Providing sex education to children in Rado Village aims to increase children's and parents' knowledge about the importance of sex education from an early age, to improve children's skills to be able to protect themselves, and to have the ability to carry out good risk assessments against all forms of sexual violence. The methods used are lecture and Pretend Play. The number of participants in this community service activity was 32 participants consisting of children and parents or companions. The form of evaluation used is discussion and feedback results with the parameters of success being increased understanding and knowledge of the material provided. The results obtained were that 100% of participants answered that they understood the sex education material provided and knew the preventive measures that could be taken to overcome cases of sexual violence.
