PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM HIDROPONIK
Abstract
Abstract: Rapid population growth threatens the use of agricultural land, which is essential for food security. A hydroponic farming system is a solution to overcome this problem. This service program aims to improve the soft skills of the “Lindung Bulan” farmer group (22 members) in vegetable cultivation with hydroponic technology in Aceh Tamiang. Activities include surveys, workshops, training, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation with the success indicators of increasing the soft skills of farmer groups by 70% and generating income from hydroponic production of Rp. 900,000 / month. The results showed an increase in soft skills of up to 90% and a profit of Rp. 1,450,000/month. Further assistance is needed for this farmer group to become independent.
