PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN ASPEK BISNIS MELALUI PELATIHAN PACKAGING PRODUK BAGI SISWA MULTIMEDIA

Abstract


Abstrak: Keterampilan bisnis menjadi penting bagi siswa multimedia yang sering kali memiliki potensi kreatif tinggi namun minim pengetahuan bisnis. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa multimedia tentang aspek bisnis, khususnya packaging, dapat menghambat mereka dalam mengembangkan dan memasarkan produk kreatif mereka secara maksimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa multimedia dalam aspek bisnis, khususnya dalam hal packaging, membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan praktis tentang pentingnya desain dan fungsi packaging dalam strategi pemasaran, dan mendorong siswa untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menciptakan packaging yang menarik dan fungsional. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan intensif yang mencakup teori dan praktik tentang packaging. Materi meliputi aspek perilaku pelanggan dan desain grafis, pemilihan bahan, serta strategi pemasaran. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di SMK Islam Bina Nusantara Gumelar. Berdasarkan evaluasi berupa kuesioner, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terkait perilaku pelanggan dan desain grafis, pemilihan bahan, dan strategi pemasaran melalui packaging dengan rata-rata sebesar 94%.

Abstract: Business skills are becoming increasingly important for multimedia students, who often possess high creative potential but lack business knowledge. The limited understanding of business aspects, particularly packaging, can hinder multimedia students from fully developing and marketing their creative products. This community service activity aims to enhance multimedia students' understanding and skills in business aspects, especially in packaging. It equips students with practical knowledge about the importance of design and functionality in packaging as part of marketing strategies, while encouraging them to be more creative and innovative in creating attractive and functional packaging. The activity was conducted through intensive training, which included both theoretical and practical sessions on packaging. The material covered aspects such as customer behavior, graphic design, material selection, and marketing strategies. Based on the evaluation in the form of a questionnaire, this training successfully improved participants' understanding of customer behavior, graphic design, material selection, and marketing strategies through packaging, with an average increase of 94%.
