PENGUATAN LITERASI DIGITAL DAN EDUKASI SANITASI LINGKUNGAN DI KAWASAN WISATA RAMMANG-RAMMANG
Abstract
Abstract: The partner reading houses face challenges in the form of low digital literacy among managers, the absence of technology-based management systems, and a lack of integration of environmental sanitation aspects into literacy activities. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of managers through strengthening digital literacy, digitizing the management of reading houses, and providing education on environmental sanitation. The activity was carried out in three stages, namely (1) participatory socialization to explore the needs of partners, (2) digital literacy training covering the use of QR codes and optimization of social media in reading house management, and (3) sanitation education training covering the application of healthy lifestyles, the use of educational media, and waste sorting simulations. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests to measure improvements in participants' digital literacy and sanitation knowledge. The results showed significant improvements in both aspects: 46.7% of participants achieved moderate digital literacy and 46.7% demonstrated high sanitation knowledge. The participants consisted of 15 reading house managers (60% men and 40% women). This program succeeded in strengthening the community's capacity in technology-based reading house management while raising awareness of the importance of environmental sanitation.
