PENERAPAN EKOEFISIENSI DAN MANAJEMEN GREEN EKONOMI PADA USAHA TANI KELOMPOK TANI BUNGA DAWA
Abstract
Abstrak: Permasalahan utama mitra adalah ketergantungan tinggi pada pupuk kimia, rendahnya pemanfaatan limbah sanitasi dan panen, serta efisiensi biaya usahatani yang masih rendah (±30%). Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam penerapan ekoefisiensi dan manajemen green economy berbasis pemanfaatan limbah menjadi kompos, POC, dan biosaka. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan kepada 20 anggota Kelompok Tani Bunga Dawa, dengan evaluasi melalui 20 soal pre–post test, observasi, dan analisis efisiensi biaya. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini adalah (1) jumlah peserta, (2) ketersediaan sarana pelatihan, (3) partisipasi peserta, (4) pelaksanaan kegiatan, (5) peningkatan pengetahuan, (6) pemahaman konsep, (7) perubahan perilaku, (8) pengelolaan limbah, (9) efisiensi biaya, dan (10) keberlanjutan lingkungan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman petani dari dominan rendah (80%) menjadi tinggi (50%), pengurangan penggunaan pupuk kimia sebesar 25–50% pada 70% petani, serta pemanfaatan limbah oleh 75% petani. Efisiensi biaya usahatani meningkat dari 30% menjadi 50%, serta terbentuk kemandirian produksi input organik yang meningkatkan nilai ekonomis dan keberlanjutan usaha tani.
Abstract: The main challenges faced by the partners include high dependence on chemical fertilizers, low utilization of sanitary and crop waste, and low farming cost efficiency (approximately 30%). The objective of this community service initiative is to enhance farmers’ knowledge and skills in applying eco-efficiency and green economy management through the conversion of waste into compost, POC, and biosaka. The methods used include outreach, training, hands-on practice, and mentoring for 20 members of the Bunga Dawa Farmers’ Group, with evaluation conducted through a 20-question pre–post test, observations, and cost-efficiency analysis. The success indicators for this activity are (1) number of participants, (2) availability of training facilities, (3) participant engagement, (4) activity implementation, (5) knowledge enhancement, (6) conceptual understanding, (7) behavioral change, (8) waste management, (9) cost efficiency, and (10) environmental sustainability. Results showed an increase in farmers’ understanding from predominantly low (80%) to high (50%), a reduction in chemical fertilizer use by 25–50% among 70% of farmers, and the utilization of waste by 75% of farmers. Farm cost efficiency increased from 30% to 50%, and self-sufficiency in organic input production was established, enhancing the economic value and sustainability of farming operations.
