PENGUATAN PEHAMANAN ORANG TUA TENTANG PENCEGAHAN BULLYING DI LINGKUNGAN KELUARGA

Abstract


Abstrak: Bullying merupakan tindakan agresif berulang dengan tujuan menyakiti korban dan berdampak serius bagi kesehatan mental korban, bahkan dapat berakhir dengan kematian. Saat ini Bullying banyak terjadi di sekitar kita, termasuk di lingkungan keluarga yang seharusnya menjadi tempat paling aman dan nyaman bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran orang tua wali siswa dalam memahami, mencegah, serta menangani perilaku bullying, khususnya di rumah atau lingkungan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada orang tua wali siswa SMP di Kecamatan Kembaran, Kab. Banyumas, Prov. Jawa Tengah, sejumlah 68 orang. Kegiatan ini dinyatakan berhasil apabila (1) minimal 70% peserta terlibat aktif dalam penyuluhan, (2) ada peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang Bullying yang diukur dari hasil pre-test dan post-test, dan (3) minimal rata-rata skor kepuasan peserta sebesar 3,00 yang diukur melalui angket kepuasan peserta (skala 1-4). Hasil pengukuran pemahaman peserta dilakukan menggunakan tes (pre-test dan post-test) yang menunjukkan rata-rata pemahaman awal dan akhir peserta sebelum dan setelah pelatihan secara berurutan sebesar 24% dan 84%, atau terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 60%. Hasil monitoring dengan observasi menunjukkan bahwa 79% peserta juga berpartisipasi aktif. Angket kepuasan juga menunjukkan rata-rata skor kepuasan peserta sebesar 3,67 (lebih dari 3,00). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta, materi yang disampaikan dengan baik oleh narasumber bermanfaat bagi peserta dalam keluarga, sehingga perlu ada kegiatan lain dengan tema-tema yang serupa.

Abstract: Bullying is a repeated aggressive act with the aim of hurting the victim and has a serious impact on the victim's mental health, and can even result in death. Currently, Bullying occurs a lot around us, including in the family environment which should be the safest and most comfortable place for children to grow and develop. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding and awareness of parents of students in understanding, preventing, and handling Bullying behavior, especially at home or in the family environment. The method used is socialization and counseling to parents of junior high school students in Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province, a total of 68 people. This activity is declared successful if (1) at least 70% of participants are actively involved in the counseling, (2) there is an increase in participants' understanding of Bullying as measured by the results of the pre-test and post-test, and (3) at least an average participant satisfaction score of 3.00 as measured through a participant satisfaction questionnaire (scale 1-4). The results of the participant understanding measurement were conducted using tests (pre-test and post-test) which showed an average initial and final understanding of participants before and after the training of 24% and 84% respectively, or an increase in participant understanding of 60%. The results of monitoring by observation showed that 79% of participants also participated actively. The satisfaction questionnaire also showed an average participant satisfaction score of 3.67 (more than 3.00). This shows that this training is in accordance with the needs of participants, the material delivered well by the resource person is useful for participants in their families, so there is a need for other activities with similar themes.
