Abstract

Abstract: KWT Pekka in Cadaskertajaya Village, Karawang Regency, is a group of female heads of households who rely on agriculture for their livelihoods. The main problems include suboptimal land use, the lack of an integrated farming system, low farm productivity, and the suboptimal utilization of agricultural waste. This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to improve members' knowledge and skills in implementing simple integrated farming through the integration of catfish cultivation and the use of slurry waste as organic fertilizer. The implementation method uses an andragogy approach and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), through outreach, training, demonstrations, practice, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. The activity results show an increase in partner knowledge based on pre- and post-test scores, and a technology adoption rate of 88%, or 22 out of 25 members. The implementation of simple integrated farming has the potential to become an easily adopted and environmentally friendly empowerment model.
